Lipomassage through the LPG system for cellulite

The LPG system is a treatment for reducing the appearance of cellulite and improving skin tone.

This treatment accomplishes the combination of two effects simultaneously:  a suctioning that is responsible for creating a fold of varying depth in the skin while the borders are done by hand with or without rollers that displace the fold as if they were a wave on the surface of the skin.

The treatment produces these important effects on the tissues:

• Local and general stimulation of circulatory capacity due to insufficient blood supply.
• Stimulation of venous and lymphatic circulation in order to gradually relieve congestion.
• Mechanical stretching of the vertical fibers (without damage) in order to recover their elasticity
• Improved tissue tone from the stimulation of the stem cells that produce collagen and elastin.

This technique has proven to be very effective in the improvement of cellulite and the reduction of a certain type of localized adipose fat tissue.

Can we substitue liposuction instead?

We cannot consider substituting liposuction, given that both techniques have very different objectives.  Nevertheless, the pre and post-operative combination for the candidates to liposuction aids in rehabilitation and in a uniformly looking skin after the surgeon's job.

Is the treatment painful?

No, in fact one important parameter is pain, then the depth of the treatment may be too deep for the tissue requirments at that moment.

Can it lead to sagging?

On the contrary, it will contribute to reestablishing the elastic strength and recovery of all treated tissues.

How long-lasting are the results?

They can last for months or even years, depending on the age, lifestyle and hormonal changes of the patient.  That is the reason for the convenience of continuing with 2-3 sessions by week for the following three months.
