It is very important that any such procedures be done by a qualified plastic surgeon, certified by the Mexican Advisory Board of Plastic Surgery (Consejo Mexicano de Cirugía Plastica).  In addition, your surgeon should be able to show you photos of previous patients that he has operated on and answer all the questions and concerns you have in order that you can see the kind of results that you are expecting.  Of course, you should also ask about any possible complications.

Above all, you should be well-informed about your surgeon’s formal training and that he is definitely licensed by the appropriate laws of his country.
